Contact Interactions has been designed to bring a workplace closer together and offer an improved customer service experience to fellow colleagues and visitors working within the same environment.
When two or more people come within range of each other, a notification is sent to each person containing details of who it is that's close by, along with their provided details and the ability to leave an interaction score as a way of measurable feedback.
Currently, what happens when a VIP (manager, owner etc) enters an environment and is greated by a concierge who has no idea who they are? Probably not much... Nothing memorable anyway. How could we help with this situation?
Using the device we all have in our pocked (or hand more often than not), we can aim to assist our concierge person by connecting them to the surrounding devices via bluetooth and trigger a notification if any of their contacts have been recorded within range.
Now let's go back and imagine the previous situation. Our VIP approaches the front door, but this time a notification is sent to the concierge alerting them to the fact that the building owner has just arrived, along with their name, supplied details and identification photo. Now the concierge knows exactly who our VIP is (even if they have never met or had any previous interaction) and can ensure they take the extra step to assist our VIP with any special requirements so they have a truely memorable visit.
After an interaction has occurred, users will be able to rate the interaction and provide feedback for the other user that will be recorded on their account, visible to other users as well as management. This provides a way for companies to measure customer service in environments such as retail, office and facilities and reward employees who go above and beyond who previously may not have been recognised.
